Google Photos is the biggest option, and it's genuinely powerful: smart search, face groups, editing, a web app, and integration with the rest of Google. That's also its weight. If you want a simpler tool that just keeps your photos safe and doesn't try to be a whole ecosystem, GramPhoto is lighter by design.
OneDrive makes sense if you're already in the Microsoft world — it bundles with Office and doubles as a files drive. GramPhoto doesn't compete on office integration; it competes on being an app whose whole job is your photos, not a general file service that also stores them.
Neither comparison is a knock on those products. Both are excellent at what they do. We're simply a focused alternative for people who want backup without the rest.

If you've ever had a phone die, get lost, or run out of storage and worried about your photos, GramPhoto exists to remove that worry with the least possible fuss. If you need Google's search power or Microsoft's file integration, use those — they're good. If you want quiet, automatic backup with clear language about what's protected, try GramPhoto.
